About us

Libertine Burger’s mission from the start was to create a proper burger restaurant chain for the 21st century. Accessible to everyone, offering great burgers and sides in a family-friendly, environment with simple and fast service.

Since starting life as a street food vendor in 2016, we have become one of the biggest names on the UK burger scene, with three restaurants and three street food trucks.

We’ve reached the National Burger Awards finals three times, being crowned UK winners in 2019. To add to this, we received the accolade of Street Food Operator at the Midlands Food Drink & Hospitality Awards 2025.

Each of our shops are unique, yet comfortably familiar. Libertine is instantly recognisable - a beacon of burgers in each of its locations.

Growing from a street food truck to having two restaurants

A nationwide delivery service and a truck that travels to some of the biggest events in the UK means we’ve gone from a tiny team to a much bigger crew. But that doesn’t mean we’re not a family.

We work hard but we play hard too.

We strive to be the best in the business but we have fun while we’re at it, and pride ourselves in laughing together as well as grafting together, supporting each other and working together to make Libertine a place people want to work at as well as eat at.
